So happy with this shoot, everyones hard work paid off and it was work all those tedious tasks! I really had a great time making and shooting it! Will upload more shots soon, though nearly a full set already up on Facebook <3
Year is coming to a close and already planning some exciting new works for start of this year whilst wrapping up remaining shoots! lots of new work to come I promise!
Please check out account for beautiful photography and cosplay! for editing this shot and being my beautiful Sophie! Cannot thank either of them enough! <3 <3
This is a very outstanding photo. This is very lovely hun. The blonde hair hits natural, along with the pose. Some how I can't seem to fully agree with the costume worn in such a wilderness place. I feel like it would look better in the Urban region, because the costume looks modern, do you see hun?
NOW moving on with the scene. I have never seem so much Tulips in my fine Especially the colors, I am so speechless about that. the lake reflects nicely and the mountains just FINISH it hun.
only three things I wish were different. I think the photo would have looked much better if the photo was shoot just slightly lower, (Like until the model's head just touches the bottom of the mountain.) the sky just seem slightly cloudy. but to top it off to a BEAUTIFUL finish...if the sun where in the back making those beautiful rays.
Um have you seen or read Howl's Moving Castle? An urban setting would be a totally inappropriate setting for this considering the series takes place in a more early to mid 1900s ish fantasy world. This setting is mind blowlingly amazing considering in the movie, there is a field of flowers that is significant to the characters and kinda the iconic back drop for the movie. Howl has a secret garden that he surprises his love interest with. howlscastle.wikia.com/wiki/Sec… this looks so much like it, it's amazing, I literally don't think there is a better place they could have taken this! I've never seen a Howl's Moving Castle cosplay photo with a setting this wonderful before.
I have to say that I am loving your hair! And the costume is so well made and the setting, you look like someone popped out into reality from a still of the movie! Did did you make his coat? I'm really liking the blue, you make an fantastic Howl!
Ah I see you DID make that coat, as you told us in different photo's author's note, and your hard work really paid off. It looks so polished and just... it looks like actually clothing, like something the character would wear and not "costume" clothing you know? It goes that extra mile
Thanks for the feed back! Though I think you don't know the material at or all the film haha, the film is set in a place like this which is obv why I chose it, unless you have been walking around 1800's nothern europe I doubt you would have seen anyone wear lace, pearls and satin in an urban location.
Please do understand that this is live action photography, I cannot control cloud or sun location/actions, we did the best with what we could do and work with, I feel we captured the look and feelings we were after. Looking at your account I can tell you haven't really been involved with an on location shoot but its quite hard work to bend nature to your will lol
Soooooo beautiful!! The costume, the scenery, everything! It's really perfect! It looks exactly like the movie!! I really can't imagine all the hard work and effort put into making the costumes, finding the scenery, and taking the photos, but it really makes a difference! It's really, really beautiful!!
