Alto Saotome: Hallelujah

"面白いこと 何かが始まる時は ..."

Hello hello~ This version of Alto titled, "dシュディスタb/娘フェス" scarred the world at Sydney Smash a few weekends back~ The lovely had other plans but when we both faced tight time constraints we decided to prolong those plans and decided on this one, or more like "Do you want to do this instead?", "Sure" about one week before the convention ~

This costume wasn't too difficult, though I did find myself rushing, starting late tuesday night with a dead line of wednesday night, though I did complete some in the hotel~ For the first time I tried using a dumb pattern under the watch of ....... never again D: it was just the old pattern again but the cutting and how it fit was really bad, should have just drafted myself from the start, where most of my time went; unpicking velvet D8 The hat was quite enjoyable to make, just based pattern off a cheap one I found!! Though like many friends that weekend, I had to suffer the night feeling the wrath of phantom hat D8 D8

Spent a good few hours wandering blindly around the city with trying to find white dress shoes, I see them all the time in Melbourne though typically none were to be found in Sydney when I needed them :l

Really would love to thank our friend , who we hijacked on the day to shoot with us! Was really appreciated!! for cutting the wig some time back!! Mostly to my gorgeous Sheryl for standing next to me at the con and making me look good 8D and especially for wanting to waste her time in Aus with me, really made the trip something to remember!!

The convention was a really lovely day, good weather, great people! Luckily there was a small carousel which we jumped on, the man kept yelling at us for changing horses so every time we went out of his sight we would quickly rearrange for the next shot!
